Ann yee spring/summer 2015: get the hair look Ann Yee SpringSummer 2015 Get the Hair Look Jon Reyman created erratic waves inspired by brewing storms for the Ann Yee Spring/Summer 2015 show. The show: Ann Yee Spring/Summer 2015 The hair team: Jon Reyman for Aveda The look: A sleek style at the front which morphs into a wavy, full ponytail. The inspiration: Jon said, "The super-straight top that develops into rapid waves speaks to the designer's vision of that time of year when an urban dweller is suddenly faced with a storm that can be forceful, moody and exhilarating." The key product: Aveda Light Elements Texturizing Creme Get the Look 1. Create a strong side parting on the left side of the head and divide into three sections; left, right and back. 2. Prep the sections with Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight and blow-dry, directing the hair way from the face. This will add the straightness needed in the front. 3. Once straight, mist hair with Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray. Working horizontally from one side, wrap sections of hair around large U-pins in a figure-of-eight pattern. Secure each with a small clip. 4. Hold each clipped section with a flat iron for ten seconds to set the shape. Once cool, release pins and brush out the hair with a paddle brush. 5. Work Light Elements Texturizing Creme into the waves with your hands, carefully maintaining definition while also keeping the hair on the crown smooth. 6. Pull the sides of the hair back to a meeting point, just left of the centre. Secure with a clear elastic. Take a section of hair from the nape and wrap around the elastic. Secure with a pin. 7. Finish with Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray.
