Tibi spring/summer 2015: get the hair look

Frank Rizzieri gave straight a conceptual twist for the TIBI Spring/Summer 2015 show at New York Fashion Week. The show: TIBI Spring/Summer 2015 The hair team: Frank Rizzieri for Aveda The look: Straight lengths with a ridge in the lengths secured off the face with a bungee elastic. The inspiration: Reflecting the inspirations of the collection, hair saw a fusion of Japanese aesthetics with Peruvian craft work. The key product: Aveda Air Control Hair Spray Get the Look 1. Apply a thin layer of Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep to give the hair volume and grip. Dry the hair straight. 2. Mist hair from roots to ends with Air Control Hair Spray. Working in small sections, use a flat iron to ensure hair is totally straight. Set with more hair spray. 3. Starting on the left side of the head, lift a section and backcomb underneath in the section behind the ear. Repeat on the opposite side. This will create an anchor for the elastic cord. 4. Working on the left, hook the bungee cord hair tie into place and pull to the right side, securing in the teased sections. Set with Air Control Hair Spray. 5. Take a section of hair midway down the length and grip with the iron, flipping up slightly to make a small ridge. Create another just below, in the opposite direction. 6. Use five drops of Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil to add more sheen.
