Angus gordon salons host apprenticeship competition AngusGordon Hosts Inter-Salon Apprenticeship CompetitionAngus Gordon Salons recently celebrated the next generation of talent with their inter-salon apprenticeship competition. The budding stylists from the Scottish salon group each presented a model to a judging panel, talking through their concepts and the inspiration behind the cut and colour with a moodboard. Two lucky winners each received tickets to Salon International for 2014 as well as a night out at the Alternative Hair Show. The two talented winners were Martyn Robertson from the Blackhall Salon who took first place in the Young Stylist category and Megan Clark from the Frederick Street Salon who won for the Juniors. Angus Gordon salon group owners, Angus Johnston and Gordon Black, were delighted with the standard and enthusiasm of the entries this year and commented: "It gives our Juniors a real focus during their initial training period within the group and there is a fiery, yet friendly, inter-salon rivalry in the build up to the final. There's a great excitement about the competition and each year produces some surprises! We are so proud of everyone who entered this year, some are only a few weeks into their training. They are all winners really."
