Angelo Seminara of
Trevor Sorbie has been named
British Hairdresser of the Year at the Hairdressers Journal British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf.

A night of glitz and glamour at the Grosvenor House Hotel saw the biggest names in the hair industry gather together to be recognised for their achievements over the last 12 months. Following the regional and specialist awards, there was a live presentation from each of the British finalists -
Andrew Barton,
Antoinette Beenders,
Errol Douglas,
Akin Konizi, Phil Smith and, of course, Angelo - conveying their interpretation of glamour. All six injected their own personalities into their stunning images, but Angelo's soft, beautiful creations saw scoop the accolade. It was a double triumph for Angelo, as the Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team had just received the Artistic Team of ther Year Award. Collecting his award, Angelo explained how he had left Italty 12 years ago to follow his heart and move to England for 'the best hairdressing in the world' and added: "I'm so proud of me!" He also thanked his wife and Trevor Sorbie, who he described as like a dad to him.
