Keen golfers Andrew and Liz Collinge recently held a charity golf tournament for Self Unlimited.

Held at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, participating teams representing the great and good of the hair industry played a full day and through donations and tickets managed to raise £17,000 for Self Unlimited; a support charity for adults with learning difficulties.

Teams from TIGI, ghd and Andrew Collinge were joined by Investec, Charles Stanley, Coulter Hurst and Company, Peter Collinge Management, Park Networks, Griffiths and Armour, Aston and Fincher, A J Hell, Mango 5 Maintenance, Jones Lang, Harvey Ingram and Self Unlimited.

Griffiths and Amour won the team prize, while Emily Blount from Self Unlimited took the accolade of longest women's drive.

"I believe this was our best event to date," said Andrew Collinge. "Everyone had a great time while raising valuable funds for a very worthwhile cause and I am pleased that all the money raised goes directly to the Design for Life Appeal. We were delighted to be joined by Esther McVey, recently appointed Minister for Disabilities."
