The former winner of HJ's British Hairdresser of the Year said: "Being named a Yorkshire Patron is an honour and an opportunity for me to talk about my homecounty with great pride.
"I was born and bred in Yorkshire and have wonderful happy memories of the village I grew up in, family days out to the gales and holidays at the Yorkshire coast as well big days out to the cities.
"My life and career has taken me around the world styling the hair of the rich and famous but I have never lost my Yorkshire accent or the pride of being called a Yorkshireman!"
