American crew face off - the final

After months of anticipation, 22 February saw the final of American Crew's Face Off competition.

Hundred of hairdressers from across the UK entered the men's photographic challenge, with 10 hopefuls attending the final at trendy London venue, The Paramount Bar at Centre Point.

With three winners set to fly to the US to work on a photo shoot with American Crew founder, David Raccuglia, the stakes were high, and the tension in the room tangible.

The three winners were:

Paul Quinn from Harper and Quinn in Wilmslow, Cheshire

Catherine Purdham from HCUK in Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Benjamin Huthwaite from Benjamin Huthwaite in Liverpool

Also leaving the event with a smile on her face was Haley Maher, of Rume Hair & Beauty in Dronfield, Derbyshire - she was the winner of a year's worth of beer, and the Asahi Beer People's Choice Award.

Face Off took advantage of having some of the country's top male hairdressers in one place to showcase its new collection, Informant, with models presented on-stage prior to the awards presentation.

Helping the event run smoothly were TV presenters and ex-Hollyoaks stars Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries.
