American crew all star challenge - uk and ireland winners announced

American Crew held the UK and Ireland final for their All Star Challenge 2018 at The Bike Shed in Shoreditch, London on Monday 12 March.
The
American Crew All Star Challenge annual competition recognises the best men’s stylists in the world. The host for the night was the effervescent Chris Foster who was later joined on stage by Revlon Professional general manager Lisa Jackson to announce the winners.
The entries were judged by a team of industry specialists including Izaac Brading American Crew All Star and Director of Mod Salons, Brian Hackett American Crew All Star and Owner Figaro Barbershop in Limerick Ireland, photographer and award-winning barber Kevin Luchmun, Amanda Nottage, editor Creative Head, Rachel Gould, editor of Modern Barber and Jonny Baba owner of BarberBarber.
Sam Wall from Hidden Heights was crowned the UK winner and Chris O'Riordan from st4men, Sean Taffe group was heralded as the Irish winner. The winners will now go onto the next round of judging where 15 countries will be picked to go on to the global final.
The UK runners up were as follows:
3rd: Harry Rushton, Francesco Group Shrewsbury
2nd: Aimee McPherson, Hidden Heights studio
The Ireland runners up were as follows:
3rd: John Coss, Creative Hair Design
2nd: Ciaran O'Sullivan, Wayne Lloyd Hair
The audience also enjoyed a catwalk by Marcus King and the American Crew Americana collection was showcased.
