British hairdressing awards: entries are open for 2018!

Entries are now open for HJ's British Hairdressing Awards sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional. To continue to make the competition stronger each year we have implemented a few changes to the entry process this year. • Entrants in all categories will need to submit a photograph of the finished image, before any post-production work has been undertaken • Newcomer – entry to this category is open to all hairdressers who are based in the UK and have been running a regular client column for a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years; and are under 27 years of age by Friday, 22 June 2018. • If you reach the finalist stage of the Newcomer category you will only need to supply a further two images for the second round. • Your photographer will now need to sign a disclaimer stating that the before and pre-edit images haven’t been retouched or manipulated in any way.
