Amanda's old school glamour

At last night's Britain's Got Talent semi-final, Amanda Holden introduced a little glamour to the proceedings with an elegant retro waved style.

Showing off longer locks than on previous nights, the wavy style was the perfect accompaniment to Amanda's spectacular vintage-inspired Ralph and Russo fishtail dress.

Wearing her hair side-parted and draped over one shoulder worked really well with the asymmetric bodice of the dramatic dress and also draws attention to Amanda's fabulous earrings -- which thankfully weren't regurgitated by Stevie Starr during his unusual act!

The overall 1940s look was softened with neutral lips and soft smoky eyes, bringing the overall look bang up to date.

Red lips and winged eyeliner could appear a little fancy dress, so thumbs up to Amanda for keeping it simple in style.
