Adventures in red carpet hair with cameron diaz

knight and dayCameron Diaz and Tom Cruise have been busy on the campaign trail this month, promoting their new film, Knight and Day. But while all Tom has to do is turn up and avoid jumping on any furniture, Cameron's had a bit more to worry about...

It's not easy being an A-list actress you know; not only has Cameron had to consider different outfits for each traipse up the red carpet, she's also had to find a hairstyle to match each look. It's a hard life!

At the London premiere, Cameron opted for a dressed-down look - if you can call a Stella McCartney frock dressed down. Worn with a simple ponytail, this is the kind of classic California girl-next-door look we've come to expect from the delightful Ms Diaz.

Earlier in the month, Cameron and Tom paid a visit to Rio de Janeiro for the Brazilian premiere of Knight and Day. Perhaps feeling more at home in a city by the beach, this time sufer girl Cameron opted for summery, crinkly waves. The laidback style contrasted nicely against her YSL dress, and I love the slick of fuchsia lipstick - just the trick to take this look from beach babe to red carpet ready.

While promoting the film in Munich, Cameron wore a chic white Bottega Veneta shift dress for a slightly more elegant look than usual. Letting the dress do the talking, the fun-loving Charlie's Angel star kept hair simple with a straight and simple blow-dry.

Right at the beginning of the promotional tour, Cameron and Tom hit Seville for the Spanish premiereKnight and Day was partly filmed in the historic city, and it looks as though Cam's low side bun was perhaps inspired by Seville's legendary flamenco dancers.

My favourite look is definitely wavy surfer girl chic in Brazil, but what do you think of Cameron's changing styles? Vote in our poll and let us know!
