Abacus Hair in Bewdley were named winners of the L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2015, in a year which saw the event celebrate its 60th anniversary in style.
The world's longest-running live hairdressing event took over Battersea Evolution for the occasion, transforming the venue for an evening that was all about colour.
As well as naming the winners of the prestigious colour contest, the night was also about inspiration, with four breathtaking live shows on a stunning rotating catwalk.

Opening the show was Adam Reed with Sixty; a celebration of music, fashion and street culture. Soundtracked by icons including Kate Bush and Neneh Cherry, his show saw models sashay with towering heart-shaped teased updos, dreamcatcher-inspired hair jewellery and plenty of braiding. Assisting Adam on the night was a veritable who's who of the next generation of hairdressing talent;
Jamie Benny from Rush,
Daffyd Rhys from Ken Picton, Stacey Egan from Guy Kremer, Luke Pluckrose from Saks,
Jack Merrick-Thirlway from Nevilles and Ollie Blackerby from Headmasters.

Further inspiration came from Jason and India Miller at Charlie Miller, who presented intergalactic warrior princesses with silver and purple shades, towering mohawks and plenty of avant-garde texture.

One of the most talked-about segments of the evening came from Trevor Sorbie and his art team, who presented Tomorrow's World; a spectacular insight into the creative mind of one of Britain's best-loved hairdressers. Starting with footage of Trevor's brainstorming process - including a neon-lit walk through Soho and a run-in with a cyclist in reflective gear - the video then gave way to a presentation of models, bringing to life those initial concepts. Glow-in-the dark hair, holographic wigs and woven hair that was transformed on stage - all truly memorable moments on an already-inspirational evening.

The final show of the night of the night came from the 20:20 Colour Collective, L'Oreal Professionnel's coterie of 14 leading colourists. Presenting their take on the most iconic shade in the Blonde Ambition show were AJ Blackadder at Urban Retreat, Chris Williams at Rush, Jack Howard at Paul Edmonds, Jane Stacey at TONI&GUY, Mark Creed at Philosophy Hairdressing, Nathan Walker at Trevor Sorbie, Siobhan Jones at Headmasters, Alan Edwards, Ian Brady at Cats Hair, Jaclyn Smith at Jo Hansford, Jo O'Neill at TONI&GUY, Mario Charalambous at Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa, Paul Dennison at Ken Picton and Tej Arina at Daniel Galvin.
While the shows were inspiring, guests were
really there to find out who was taking home the prizes, which were handed out by host Lauran Laverne and a host of hairdressing greats - and the iconic Twiggy, resplendent as ever as
the face of L'Oreal Professionnel.
