A right royal experience for francesco group students

Staff from the Francesco Group recently had the opportunity to meet Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, in a pop-up salon spot at the 2013 Skills Show. The team hosted a replica salon to showcase hair and beauty training and apprentices, with students and staff alike on hand to discuss the important of training and education for a successful career in hairdressing. Her Royal Highness Princess Anne visited the stand on the Friday and chatted to Birmingham academy manager, Sue Lubke and students about the training that the group delivers. Princess Anne wanted to know how important the Francesco Group thought hairdressing apprenticeships and training were, to which Sue replied: "We are really passionate about constantly raising the standards in our industry and how important it is to keep recruiting new young people into the industry too."
