A feathered affair

Feathered hair accessories are no longer restricted to wedding fascinators and other such formal headwear; feathers as a decorative headpiece are becoming commonplace just about everywhere, as Katie proved when I met her in London wearing this beautiful two-toned feathered headband. With ‘Gypsy Summer’ being a big trend this season, feathered hair accessories will work a treat. Katie's dark feathers are a great quirky addition to her strawberry blonde hair, but try vibrant jazz pink and blue for darker hair colours to stand out and really channel the bohemian trend. Katie’s headband is vintage, but there are flocks of feathers available on the high street!
