The bob and long bob trend is proving popular as ever, with more and more celebrities braving the chop for Spring/Summer 2015. Jessica Alba, Ellie Goulding and Lady Gaga are the latest adopters of the trend - but who are the A-listers your clients will be copying this season?
The experts at Hairtrade.com have chosen their favourites, and there's something for everyone. Take a look at their five favourite celebrity bobs below!
1) Fearne Cotton – the wavy lob
Fearne Cotton has famously sported her lob for a couple of years and always manages to style it in different ways. One of our fave Fearne looks is her wavy lob, with effortless curls which fall loosely to show off her facial features.

• Prep hair by using some heat protector spray to avoid any damage.
• Using a curling iron, slowly twist strands around a large curling iron and hold for a few seconds.
• Catch the curl in your hand and spritz with strong hold hairspray, then pin in place to set.
• Once the hair is all curled, unpin and shake through with your hands. Use a Tangle Teezer to comb through the hair to loosen and relax curls. Finish off by using some sea salt spray to emphasise the waves.
2) Jourdan Dunn – the sleek lob
Jourdan recently swapped her long locks for a lob and she couldn't have chosen better. The glossy style and blunt cut help make the style extra sleek, especially when worn in a side parting.

• Divide hair into four sections and blow-dry it straight using a paddle brush.
• Spritz hair with heat protector spray and smooth over the ends with straighteners to create a really polished, sleek look.
• Finish with serum for extra shine and gloss.
3) Alexa Chung – the effortless bob
She bought back the bob in her own right and Alexa Chung knows exactly how to work the long bob look. Her centre parted lob with a hint of colour always look effortless, no matter how she styles it.

• The whole point of the effortless lob is that it isn't too styled, but a helping hand will prevent it looking too much like bed head.
• Part hair in the middle, styling by hand to create less of a defined look.
• Work a dollop of mousse through the lengths and blow-dry, working with your hands rather than a brush to create natural-looking volume and movement.
• Once dry, add a bit of hair powder at the crown and through the lengths to create airy volume.
• Scrunch through with your hands and finish with hairspray.
4) Cheryl Fernandez-Versini – the 70s bob
Cheryl shocked everyone when she
swapped her statement bouncy locks for a more sophisticated bob but by doing so she is now bang on trend.
Get the look
• This isn't a sleek, flat look, but a straight finish enhances the chic, 70s vibe.
• Prep hair with a cocktail of serum and mousse, raking through from root to tip. Blow-dry with a round brush to create a sleek finish with volume.
• Add a little hair powder at the crown and tweak hair with your fingers to create a bit of piecey separation.
Rosamund Pike – the asymmetric bob
She first debuted her asymmetric lob in hit film Gone Girl, but Rosamund Pike has been working it ever since. The asymmetric style shows off an edgy style and doesn’t require a lot of daily maintenance.
Get the look
• The asymmetric bob works equally well when styled smooth and straight or worn with a wave, like Rosamund.
• Style hair in a deep side parting, roughly parallel with the arch of the eyebrow.
• Prep hair with texture spray or salt spray and blow-dry, using your hands to twist sections at random and create a natural, beachy texture.
• Once dry, tuck hair behind the ear on the parted side, leaving the weight of the hair to fall forward.
