The 2015 Redken Symposium landed at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas last night, and with 9,000 hairdressers in attendance and 275 models on stage, it's safe to say that the three-education extravaganza is back and bigger than ever.
Hairdressers representing all four corners of the globe attended the opening show, which also saw a star-studded cast of international stylists on stage - including the UK's very own Andrew Barton, Lee Stafford and Kelly Scott.
As well as giving the audience a glimpse into the talent they'd be seeing in up-close seminars over the coming days, the grand opening also introduced some new products and showcased old favourites in inspiring hair shows.

Blonde Idol was given a rocking update, with models riding on to the stage on the back of roaring Harleys. Pureology was presented in a swinging sixties-themed show, with bouffants and oversized braids created live on stage to a soundtrack ofÂ
Zou Bisou Bisou and jiving male models on Lambrettas.
Demonstrating the tireless work of Guido, a fashion week-themed section saw a catwalk backstage recreated on stage, with models rocking just some of the 100 looks he creates over the course of the fashion season.
New launches previewed included Extreme Lengths, a biotin range to help hair grow long and strong. Model
Soo Joo Park fronts the campaign, which promises growth of up to 6" per year.
Also coming soon is Frizz Dismiss. Boasting FPF - frizz protection factor - the range allows you to pick which level of frizz protection clients need to provide up to 82% less frizz after one use.
