colour.jpgYou've seen the A-list looks from the MTV Video Music Awards, now here's a roundup of the best styles from the rest of the guests at the star-spangled event.

Swedish pop star Robyn performed a storming set at the awards, and maintained an effortless cool with her bright, white, super shot crop - all the better to show off that unusual earpiece.

Competing with Florence Welch for brightest shade of red of the evening, up-and-coming US singer, Bonnie McKee. The blunt cut is really reminiscent of our Flo's look, but I do love how Bonnie has mixed things up with fluoro pink lipstick.

Nicki Minaj is the current underground hip hop sensation, and is all set to be the next big thing for winter 2010. On the red carpet last night, Nicki opted for a bright pink wig with blonde section in the fringe. Cool, quirky, and eye-catching - this is typical of Nicki's look, so who knows how many copycats we'll see in the coming months?

brunette-vmas.jpgProving that luxe chocolate box locks are everywhere this season, here's a varied trio of brunettes from the awards.

Disney star Selena Gomez always looks age-appropriate on the red carpet, which is way better than Miley Cyrus's awkward posing. This ponytail is young and cool, but just a bit too long. What is it with these Disney stars and their ridiculous extensions? Just a couple of inches off the bottom would be much better.

Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha took a break from posing at New York Fashion Week to walk the red carpet. I always prefer Coco with red hair, but she tends to look pretty stunning whatever she does.

Finally, and most excitingly, Cher! The legendary diva was on hand to present Gaga with a gong, and looked amazing in what appears to be the original Turn Back Time leotard! Some may say her curls are out of control and swamp her somewhat; I say, Cher can do no wrong.
