Mark Creed is the current President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing and owns Philosophy Hairdressing. There are currently three salons in the chain, located in around Oxford.
1. What is your biggest achievement?
Opening three Philosophy Hairdressing salons and becoming President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing
2. If you weren't a hairdresser what would you be?
A photographer or MP
3. How would your clients describe you?
Passionate about colour and a perfectionist.
4. Which one style do you wish you had created?
The 5 point bob (Sassoon) with added colour!

David Bowie

Daniel Galvin
7. Which hairdresser would you most like to work with (past or present)?
Annie Humphreys or Daniel Galvin
8. Who cuts your hair?
One of the Philosophy Art Team.
9. Favourite part of the job?
Seeing a busy salon full of delighted clients and fulfilled team.
10. Who is your most famous client past or present?
No comment.
11. Last time you were lost for words?
On hearing our latest rent review proposal!
12. Which one product couldn't you live without?
L'Oreal INOA
13. Is there anything about the industry that makes you mad?
A general public lack of respect for our industry.
14. What's the biggest gaffe you've made in your career?
A tinting trolley that decided to roll away and off the stage into the audience... un-level stages, I hate them!
15. What's the best career advice you've ever been given?
Never compromise on quality.
16. Last time you were star-struck?
Meeting Mikhail Gorbachev.
17. Time you were most proud to be in hairdressing?
Everytime a client leaves the salon with every sense uplifted.
18. What celebrity haircut do you wish had never caught on?
Jennifer Aniston - it was more of a blowdry/finish than a haircut
19. What haircut would you love to make a come-back and how would you re-invent it for the noughties?
The 5 point bob brought bang up to date with vivid colour!
