Online hair and beauty retailer Hairtrade.com asked customers to vote for the celebrity who they thought had made the most drastic hair change, whether for work or personal reasons. The actress took up the razor for her role in V for Vendetta ten years ago and just under a quarter of poll respondents (24%) agreed that it was the most shocking celebrity hair cut of recent years. In second place was Harry Potter star Emma Watson, who famously switched her long brown hair with an elfin pixie do. Firmly placing Hermione in the past, 20% of voters reckoned this transformation was the most drastic. In third place was style chameleon Rihanna, with 17% of voters thinking her bright red shade was the boldest celebrity hairstyle. Natalie Portman - 24% One respondent said: "Natalie Portman totally transformed her look when she shaved off her hair – a few celebrities have followed suit since but she was the first to pull it off. It was really drastic because everyone had always seen her as really feminine then she proved she could rock the boyish look too." Celebrity Hair Transformations - Emma Watson 2. Emma Watson - 20% Another woman said: "For me, Emma Watson's pixie cut was the most memorable celebrity transformation. She was literally washing Hermione right out of her hair." Celebrity Hair Transformations - Rihanna 3. Rihanna - 17% A third respondent added: "I love Rihanna’s hair transformations, I can't wait to see which look she is going to unveil next. Jessie J - 12% Singer Jessie J waved goodbye to her iconic bob and block fringe by shaving it off for Comic Relief, raising £500,000 for charity in the process. Khloe Kardashian - 10% Just making it into the top five was Khloe Kardashian who temporarily swapped her glam ombre locks for cornrows last year, scoring her 10% of the votes for the most shocking change in style. Kylie Jenner - 7% Hot on her half sister's heels was Kylie Jenner, whose turquoise blue dip-dyed bob scored seven per cent of the votes - and Kim's wedding rath. Carey Mulligan - 5% Next was actress Carey Mulligan who not only chopped off her mousy tresses into a pixie cut but bleached them blonde for a role in The Great Gatsby, earning her five per cent of the votes. Celebrity Hair Transformations - Vicky Pattison 8. Vicky Pattison - 2% Tied in eighth place were reality TV stars Vicky Pattinson and Ashley James who each scored two per cent of the votes. Natalie Dormer - 1% In last place with just one per cent of the votes was Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer, who sported an urban undercut while filming for her role in The Hunger Games.
