'hair colour like never before' in the kaizen collection

This is seriously hot off the press! I've just come from the Toni & Guy show at Salon Live and it really was sensational. Colour was a major focus for this show, with very wiggy, surreal, artificial shades. Colours were filtered together using a lot of freehand techniques and the pallet was as vast as it gets!

The show focused on its new collection, Kaizen, which it revealed to the world’s press for the first time. There was also a men’s collection, and it was great to see longer styles, with loads of texture. Guys - curls are back in a big way and the rock n roll look is really a strong theme. Think Russell Brand toned down meets Coldplay’s Chris Martin. I loved the show - it was edgy, showed an array of techniques, but most importantly, worked with colour like never before. The Toni & Guy involvement with London Fashion Week is really influencing their work - and this is their finest yet in my opinion. See HJ for my full show report. Now I’m off to see what’s hot in the Hair Hall. Emma S
