When it comes to show stopping, visionary delights you need look no further than, the Alternative Hair International Visionary Awards. Started by Alternative Hair President,  Anthony Mascolo, the Visionary Awards celebrates the new generation of hairdressing talent and are becoming increasingly popular every year. Entires flood in from around the globe and the Awards now boast their own ‘show within a show’, during the annual Alternative Hair Show. Beginning as an avant-garde competition, the Awards now include cut & colour, and for the first time this year, a men’s award. Tempted to enter? Last year's winner, Rossa Danagher talks about what the Alternative Hair Visionary Awards mean to him: Q. How many times have you been on stage at the Alternative Hair Show? Rossa: Twice Q. What does it feel like to be on stage at the Royal Albert Hall? Rossa: It has definitely been the highlight of my career! Q. Can you describe the show? Rossa: For me the show is inspirational, a must on my calendar every year, it's an amazing charity to support and it’s also great to see a show with such global talent. It’s incredible backstage. Q. What does Alternative Hair Show mean to you? Rossa: The Alternative Hair Show is a platform for myself and my team to showcase our work to a global audience and it can also open up some opportunities for my salon. Q. What made you decide to participate this year? Rossa: I am doing the Alternative Hair Show 2015 because I had the pleasure of winning the Visionary Award, last year 2014.
