Young total beauty awards 2014 open for entries

The Société Française de Biosthétique Young Total Beauty Awards 2014 is now open for entries, with a brand new category for barbers. Open to those aged 25 and under in La Biosthetique salons, the competition prize is a place on the Creactiv UK Artistic Team for 2014. The place on the team doesn't just come with prestige, you'll also enjoy a year of education, training and events, as well as an award and press exposure. To enter, you just need to create a look that reflects the La Biosthetique brand, while interpreting current trends in hair and beauty. A place on the team includes a year’s worth of education, training and performing events; a beautiful award and press exposure for the winner and their salon. Models and photographs don't need to be professional, but judges will be looking for quality hair and how it fits with the model's image, as well as the overall mood of the photo. This year, the competition is also open to barbers and men's hairdressers. La Biosthetique UK creative director, Beverley Bates, says: "The high standard of UK entries is always very impressive – I’m really excited about this years’ competition, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. A real chance to show just how great British hairdressing is!"
