Young total beauty award winners named for 2014

The Young Total Beauty Award winners have been named for 2014, with three young stylists scooping La Biosthetique's prizes for up-and-coming talent. Hosted by the Societé Française de Biosthetique - the UK's La Biosthetique club offering training support and inspiration - the day also included an inspiring show. The La Biosthetique UK Art Team presented their Autumn/Winter collection Pop Art, followed by a demo from the Modern Barber Team inspired by Peaky Blinders and the Spotlight Swagger show from the Creactiv Team - La Biosthetique's young artistic team. The evening ended with the presentation of prizes in the Young Beauty Awards and a new category, Young Modern Barber. Competitors had previously submitted photographs, with 12 finalists invited to present their looks live on stage during the evening show. The winner of the Total Beauty category was Zoe Tew at Headmasters Leamington Spa, with Sam Bowley at Headmasters Leamington Spa named runner up. The Modern Barber category was won by Alice Lindsay of Aqua Creative Team in Leeds. Judge Jacki Wadeson commented: "These young professionals worked so hard to deliver a huge variety of styles and techniques. It showed their commitment to pushing themselves in their careers. The winners and the runner up were chosen for their really polished looks with great model choice and total look."
