The L'Oréal Professionnel Young Colourist of the Year, in association with HJ, is a chance for hairdressers from the status of a talented young stylist or colourist into one of hairdressing's up-and-coming talents.
Hundreds of hopefuls were whittled down to seven finalists who will now have three hours to create their looks live in front of a prestigious panel of judges before being quizzed about the inspiration behind their images.
