Are you ready for the British Hairdressing Awards 2020 sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional? 30 November is still set to be the industry’s biggest night of the year, and you can get involved with all the latest updates and stream the whole event for free by clicking ‘Attending’ on the official event page on Facebook.
On this page, you can catch up with all updates and news surrounding the event, and you can watch the whole night streamed live at 20:00 UTC on Monday 30 November to see for yourself who’s taking home the trophies (or, more accurately, having trophies sent to their homes).
The move onto a virtual stage represents both the current times and the dynamism and creativity of an industry that adapts and embraces change. Every year since its inception, the British Hairdressing Awards event has been held in the glorious surroundings of the Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London attracting 2,000 guests including 100 finalists in 17 categories, but the virtual event is an exciting new chapter for the event and means even more hairdressers can get involved.

From Afro to Art Team, this year’s submissions are especially unique as they represent the hairdressers’ favourite ever work. For 2020, hairdressers were allowed to take their best shots from over the years and create an exciting, career-spanning new collection.
