The X Factor live shows have finally begun, and it's not just the performances everybody's talking about - Celebrity Spy has all the gossip on the finalists' looks, and check out Kate's blog for the verdict on Dannii vs Cheryl!
Rebecca Ferguson takes my prize for top transformation; faux-ponytails can be hard to carry off without looking naff, but she looks classy, sophisticated, and super cool. Mini-Cheryl (or Cher Lloyd, as she's otherwise known) performed well, and I loved her styling - even if it was just Cheryl's wardrobe cast-offs. Not quite sure what I make of Katie Waissel's helmet, but I'm excited to see what the ex-salon receptionist does with her look next. I was glad to see Treyc Cohen back as the 'Wildcard', and she gave a great performance. However I think I have to agree with a Twitter friend who referred to her look as Tina Turner in Beverly Knight's wig; not loving it.

Paije Richardson also made a welcome return, but while I love his voice I can't say I'm entirely behind his 80s look. The flat-top is one thing, but that shellsuit has got to go. I can't believe Matt Cardle still has that blinking hat on, and I refuse to comment further until he removes it. Slightly gutted that Nicolo Festa was booted off - I loved his slick look, and I bet he had loads of more fashion-y looks up his stylish sleeve. Aiden Grimshaw remains a favourite, and although his performance was terrifying, he looked fabulous throughout.

I think it's safe to say Mary Byrne was the highlight of the night, although her top-knot was a little too tight for my liking. Still, one HJ Facebook fan said, "I think she pulled it off really well, not alot of older woman can." Still hate Storm Lee, and his ludicrous Saturday night look didn't help. That hair! That makeup! Try-hard doesn't even cover it. I think I'm the only person who loves Wagner Carrilho and I loved all the Brazilian blow-dry comments about him flying around Twitter! He needs a proper ballad next week, fingers crossed that Louis doesn't try and turn him in to a comedy act. John Adeleye did a lovely performance, even if it wasn't exciting. He really does look like a young Luther Vandross though, especially in that shiny suit.

Belle Amie still look great - love the Topshop styling and cool hair. It's just what girls up and down the country are doing, and hopefully that should stand them in good stead. One Direction appear to all have a variation on the same haircut now - that Bieber has a lot to answer for. I don't know if FYD really deserved to go, but I don't feel inspired to say anything about their look, which perhaps says something. As for Diva Fever, well it looks as though they shared Cheryl's creosote, but who knows where they found those cycling shorts?
Keep up with all the X Factor gossip!
