From Rita Ora's street-style cool to Leona Lewis's drop-dead diva glam, this year's experts provided plenty of hair inspiration - here we take a look at the best;

Nicole Scherzinger
"Nicole brings some
Hollywood sleekness to The X Factor panel. The great thing about her hair is that it always looks incredibly healthy and shiny. I love the different things she does in terms of styling - and these soft waves in particular are a constant client favourite!"
Karly Whittaker, Sarah Hodge Hairdressing, Taunton, Somerset
Rita Ora
"Rita isn't just the girl of the moment - her look is hot right now too! Minimally layered, this style embraces a very natural feel when it comes to the movement throughout her lengths. Here, the chart-topping star proves that the festival season can make even the most glamorous of celebrities feel comfortable with revealing their roots - and still look great."
Stan Newton, HOB Salons, London

Mel B
"When it comes to hair, Mel B is less Scary Spice and more sugar and spice these days. She is sporting an on-trend, glamorous mane of wavy locks. The colour is beautiful and her hair looks super shiny and healthy too. To recreate, apply mousse and dry using a round brush to create movement and lift at the roots. My favourite piece of kit at the moment is heated rollers; use the smaller size barrels to achieve more curls and apply a styling lotion as you set the hair. Once the rollers have cooled, remove them and you are left with beautiful bouncy hair. Run a brush through it to soften and for extra shine, a light mist of shine spray is ideal."
Nicola Hulatt-Richards, Westrow, Leeds
Leona Lewis
"I love Leona's hair, she looks gorgeous. The beautiful, rich chocolate high-shine global colour suits her and complements her skin tone. The long, sharp cut she is sporting looks fabulous swept around her face and worn in a low, side ponytail. The overall style, colour and make-up is perfect for the upcoming Autumn/Winter season."
