Winners celebrate at awards

It was a night of celebration for the team at Hooker & Young last night as the winners of their inter-salon competitions were announced at the Marriott Hotel in Gosforth, Newcastle.

It was a triple celebration for the team at the Jesmond salon who took the Artistic Team of the Year title with their beautiful Alice in Wonderland interpretation whilst Graduate Stylist went to Faye Purver and Assistant of the Year to Abbey Watts. For the Wynyard salon, Sam Mulgrew took the Salon Stylist of the Year award for his increases in all areas including request appointments, repeat bookings and retail with Paula Martinez of the Seaham Hall salon a jubilant winner in the Stylist of the Year category.

The evening, hosted by Gary Hooker and Michael Young was a really enjoyable one as the passion for winning and camaraderie of the teams shone through.
