Hairdressing-council-pic.jpgFancy rubbing shoulders with hairdressing's glitterati at an exclusive lunch in the historic surroundings of the House of Commons? Well this is your chance.

Just 50 guests, including hairdressing legends Charles Worthington, Anthony Mascolo and Trevor Sorbie , will be present at the exclusive Hairdressing Council gathering on June 21 and you and a friend or colleague can be on the guest list too.

The Hairdressing Council was set up in 1964 by an Act of Parliament to raise standards and professionalism and its goal is to make the industry self regulated.

Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton, HJ's 2006 British Hairdresser of the Year, is the Council's ambassador and leading names such as Beverly C, Akin Konizi, Mark Hayes and Angelo Seminara are all registered hairdressers.

So, if you are a fully qualified hairdresser and would like to be included on the state register visit the Hairdressing Council website
