As a business, growing your clientele organically means targeting both your existing clients and potential new clients, says Valerie Delforge.
Networking is by far the most rewarding and constructive was to generate new clients.
3 reasons to Network:
- Creates new data for you business
Always think DATA when you network. How can I get customer’s details through the activities that I generate with other businesses?
Legally you cannot get other businesses data so the partnership that you create can give you the opportunity to generate new data.
- Creates a buzz around the salon
Networking allows you to become a household name within your community, the power of words of mouth is incredible but persistence has to become your best friend.
Do not underestimate any events that you do, even if you didn’t get anywhere on the day, it might come back to you at a later stage.
Most of the time, we never set a budget for marketing. Somehow it is the first thing that we cut. The budget is minimal for networking - if not free.
Networking is at the heart of your salon’s growth, It also allows you to open up to various events/activities, gain new clients and generate interest in who you are and what you do.
Being flexible to open up to new opportunities, who knows where that can take you?
