Why a trip to the pub is great for the hairdressing business

How much of your business takes place in the pub? May sound like a strange question, but teams HJ and HJi have been getting out and about in the industry and 'the pub' was a recurring theme.

These are just some of the things we heard happen in the pub:

• Team meetings
• Touting for clients
• Recruiting staff
• Team bonding after a hectic Saturday on the shop floor.

I guess we have the odd brainstorm over the lunch in the pub, but I was a bit surprised - and, I'll admit, a it jealous - of how central to some hairdressers business. It's just another example of what a lucky bunch you are!
