On Monday 13 October 2025, the People’s Choice Barber Competition (Emerging Talent) took centre stage at Salon International, held at ExceL London. The live event showcased some of the UK’s up and coming talent in barbering, all competing for the coveted title.
After an impressive competition, Ben Sleight was announced as the winner of the 2025 People’s Choice Barber Competition (Emerging Talent). The Emerging Talent Category is aimed at barbers with less than three years of experience at the time of the competition (13 October 2025). This competition is an opportunity to start building your portfolio and build your reputation as one to watch in the industry.
The competition was judged by an esteemed panel of industry icons: Kevin Luchmun, Naomi Richardson, and Roxanne Batt who assessed each contestant’s technical precision, creativity, and overall execution.
This marks another successful year for the People’s Choice Barber competition, which continues to highlight the very best in barbering talent across the UK.
