Who won at the remi cachet super stylists awards night?

Remi Cachet held their first ever Summer Ball and Awards Evening at Redworth Hall on Saturday 18 September, bringing together their ‘Super Stylists’ who would usually meet up annually. Devised during lockdown, the event celebrated the brand’s recent successes and development with a stacked guestlist of VIP guests and brand supporters. Following a three-course dinner, the event was hosted by Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, a regular advocate of Remi Cachet. “We’ve been so looking forward to this night, we all deserved a fantastic get together, and to let our hair down and have some fun. For the past couple of years, we have not been able to host our usual Super Stylist event, and so we wanted to have something different and recognise the efforts of the Super Stylists. Everyone had such a great time, and we can’t wait to be able to do it all again next year.”  Below is the full list of winners:  

Recycler of the Year

Based on total amount of hair returned for the Hair Recycling scheme Winner: Joanne Fox, Hair by Jo, Durham “Receiving the Recycling Award for the second year running means the world. Being able to recycle old hair extensions and do my bit for the planet fills me with pride. I’m such a huge supported of the recycle scheme and a matter of trust. The Special Recognition Award was just the icing on the cake. I hadn’t realised just how many years the Super Stylists had been around and to stand with these amazingly talented ladies from day one and be handed this award from Victoria means so much.” Joanne Fox, Hair by Jo Runners Up: Alex Ferris - Hair Extensions by Alex Ferris, Bradford and Abigail Nicholls – Abigail Nicholls Hair, Devon

Image of the Year

Super Salon of the Year 

Recognising the Super Stylist and their salon whose collective input from multiple extensionists has demonstrated brand growth and development. Winner: Luci Owen & Secret Lengths team, Newcastle “We had the best time at the summer ball and to top it off winning Salon of the Year award. This is a massive achievement, starting off my hair extension career as a mobile extensionist to now growing my business to have my very own Super Salon and winning awards. Remi Cachet are the most amazing brand to work with and we are super excited for the future!” – Luci Owen, Secret Lengths. Image of the Year

Super Stylists were asked to submit their favourite image of the year to be judged externally by Louise Bailey of Extension Professional, Inanch Emir of Inanch London and Gold Class Hair and Roberto Silva Hair Extensions. With before, during and after images, the judges scored on application as well as the finished look in terms of colour, blend, style and overall finish. With just half a point separating the top three finalists, Mark Taylor won with his Elegance Injection Tape transformation in shade 9/613. “I have and will always be obsessed with injection tapes! They can create anything in my client’s minds - colour, volume and length truly suitable for every client. I am known for my tape application and placement, finished with my signature waves.” – Mark Taylor
