Which celebrity colourist asks clients for their baby photos?

One celebrity colourist has an interesting approach when it comes to her colour consultation – she asks clients for photos of them as a baby! Tracey Cunningham, colourist to Khloe Kardashian, Emma Stone, Charlize Theron et al, requests pictures of her clients as children to get a feel for their hair history. “When you’re a kid, your hair is so gorgeous, and then your hair goes naturally darker, and people want to get back to what they had before, back to their roots,” Tracey told Variety Magazine. https://www.instagram.com/p/CPOWoNxA6lA/ It’s an ethos that Cunningham talks about in her new book, True Color: The Essential Hair Color Handbook (Abrams), co-authored by journalist and writer Erin Weinger. It's an informative book about the art of hair colour and it takes a look at its history and terminology and offers advice for consumers about achieving their perfect hair colour. And it contains some nuggets of information that's useful to pros too. It also features her famous clients’ baby photos (including Lana Del Rey, Khloé Kardashian and Drew Barrymore!) and traces Cunningham’s career journey so far. Tracey says of the book: “It’s a great handbook for anybody who likes to colour their hair or has hair. Erin interviewed so many specialists — people who work for the water department, doctors — answering questions that hairdressers can’t answer for you." But what Tracey's most-requested colour? Lily Aldridge’s golden blond ombre tresses, she says. “I nailed her hair colour exactly the way she was when she was little. It gave brunettes options.”
