What's happened to cheryl cole's hair?

We are so used to seeing Cheryl Cole looking perfect it was a shock when I saw this picture of her picking up her trophy at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. She looked incredibly thin, with hair that looked like a slipped wig. Where had her lovely shoulder-length bob gone? Where was the shine and lustre? It looked dull and lifeless and looked lopsided rather than fashionably asymmetric. Not sure what her stylist did but the combination of humid weather and air conditioning seems to have ruined what I'm sure was a lovely style when she left her hotel room.
