HJ’s 2007 North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year Robert Eaton, of Russell Easton, Barnsley, West Yorkshire, reveals what’s in his man-bag.- I get inspiration for shows and shoots from glossy magazines including Vogue and i-D.
- I feel I live on trains at the moment so I’m never without my iPod. I like The Klaxons and Kings of Leon.
- I keep a comb and scissors, plus a bag of sectioning clips, with me all the time. You never know when you’re going to need them.
- My mobile phone is essential because I’m always getting calls relating to work. I also like to keep in touch with friends by texting them.
- I have a sweet tooth so chocolate is always in my bag. My favourite is a Mars bar.
- I think it is really important to smell great so I always have aftershave with me. My favourite is Hugo Boss.
- L’Oréal Professionnel tecni.art a-head clay is one of my favourite products at the moment, it defines any style.
- I’m on the phone so much, the battery is always running low. I take my charger with me to charge the power up on the train.
- I’d be lost without my diary. I’ve always got something going on either with training, seminars, photo shoots or press days.
