West and Hunter Gentlemen's Grooming Club, previous winner of HJ's Barbershop of the Year, has proudly reopened its doors following their refurbishment to enhance the client experience and modernise its space.
Based in the heart of Chiswick, London, West and Hunter has cultivated a strong sense of community since the shop’s opening in 2020.
To celebrate the milestone, West and Hunter hosted an exclusive event on 8 February, bringing together clients, neighbours and brand partners for an evening filled with drinks, canapes and conversation.
“This refurbishment marks an exciting new chapter for us at West and Hunter,” said Zamaine Ismail, founder of the shop. “Our goal was to create a space that reflects the craftsmanship and care we put into every client experience. It was incredible to see everyone come together to celebrate this new beginning with us.”
The refurbished space now features custom-built barber stations, an additional seat to accommodate more clients, and sleek interiors with elegant wooden panels and expansive mirrors.
As part of the relaunch, West and Hunter unveiled a collaboration with Nichols London, introducing a collection of co-branded leather goods - including wallets, passport holders and toiletry bags for men - now available to shop at West and Hunter. Nichols’ handcrafted leather goods result from Rory Nichols’ decade-long experience in luxury craftsmanship. After working for esteemed brands like Dunhill and Ralph Lauren, Rory launched his own brand, blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. This exclusive collaboration reflects the shared values of quality and craftsmanship that both brands are known for.
