Wella UNICEF Making Waves 2015 opens for entry on 2 February, giving the gift of education to vulnerable young people in Romania and Vietnam.
The
program launched in 2010 to train those in disadvantaged areas with life skills education in the form of hairdressing training and mentoring. Once equipped with basic hairdressing skills, it is hoped that students will be able to earn themselves a living, live independently and develop a career path.
Each year, Wella recruits ambassadors to head up the training - and this year, applications open on 2 February. You'll receive comprehensive training and all expenses are covered, but the real benefit is passing on your knowledge and passion for hair to those who really need it.
You can also show your support for Wella and Unicef by selling special products marked with the branding - each product sold will cover the cost of one class. Alternatively, you can donate online
here.
