The Wella Professionals UK and Ireland Trend Vision Award celebrated the creativity and skill of the UK and Ireland’s hair industry at the Roundhouse in London’s Camden.
TV presenter Emma Willis hosted the evening with her fun and witty style and the audience were treated to three incredible live shows by Rob Eaton, ghd and Hob Academy.
Rob Eaton and the Russell Eaton Art Team show featured a collection of multi-tonal hair colour brought to life through light and reflection. While the ghd show highlighted the importance of the Queen maker (the stylist).
Finally, Akin Konizi and the HOB Academy team took the audience back to the 80s with their show, which celebrated their 35th anniversary by drawing inspiration from previous collections and current trends.
An incredible show called
Long Live the Queensfrom ghd demonstrated the truly creative nature of ghd, and celebrated all stylists, who it called the ‘Queen Makers’.
HOB Academy also presented its HOB 35 show, headed up by Akin Konizi and his creative team. The incredible collection celebrated its 35 year anniversary drawing inspiration from previous collections and current trends.

The Color Vision judging panel included Alan Keville, Darren Lacen, Olive Tucker, Jayson Gray, Daniel Spiller, Kay McIntyre, Sharon Cox and Leonardo Rizzo.
The Creative Vision judging panel included: Charlie Taylor, Paul Adamczuk, Angelo Valillo, Bruno Marc Giamattei, Colin McAndrew, Kai Wan, Kieron Fowles, Sarah Mason and Cos Sakkas.
The Male Grooming judging panel included: Kerry Hayden, Bruce Masefield, Joshua Goldsworthy and Kevin Luchmun.
