Wella professionals trendvision award 2016 uk & ireland regional heats announced

The first-round judging for the annual Wella Professionals TrendVision Award has now taken place. From hundreds of entries, 156 competitors in the UK and Ireland in the Creative Vision and Color Vision categories have been chosen to go through to the next stage of the competition. UK competitors will be battling it out at the Regional Heats, set to take place across the country throughout May, and the Irish competitors being judged at the Irish Heat in August. During the Photographic Heat 78 competitors in the Creative Vision category and 78 in the Color Vision category across UK and Ireland have been selected from an esteemed panel of industry judges to showcase their work in a dazzling competitor catwalk evening show at the UK & Ireland Regional Judges for the Creative Vision Category included Callum Standen-May, The Egg; Akin Konizi, HOB Academy;  Paul Phillps, Chopp; Gustav Fouche, MVC; and Maria Galati, Taylor Taylor London.  While Color Vision category judges were Edward Darley, Sassoon Academy; Jayson Gray, Karbon; Clayde Baumann, D&J Ambrose; Daniel Spiller, Marc Antoni; and Sarah Bower, Taylor Taylor London. They were joined by a selection of editor’s from the industry’s leading trade publications, including HJi’s Mary Forester. All those that get through to the UK and Ireland Regional Heats will be hoping they will wow the judges for a chance to make it through to the all-important UK and Ireland Final, which takes place on Monday 10th October 2016 at the Roundhouse, Camden, London.
