Calling all colourists: Hairdressers Journal International has teamed up with Wella Professionals to launch the Pure Perfection Competition, giving you the chance to see your work featured in HJ print.
The competition invites colourists across the UK to put their creativity and technical skills to the test using Wella Professionals Pure Perfection – the brand’s new ammonia-free permanent colour range.

What Could You Win?
One winner will receive a feature in the December issue of Hairdressers Journal, showcasing their work to the professional hairdressing industry. They’ll also receive a year’s free subscription to HJ, plus a collection featured in print and online.
How to Enter
To enter, create a hair colour transformation using Wella Professionals Pure Perfection and capture high-quality photographs of your finished look.
Post your transformation to Instagram between 1 September and 16 October 2026, tagging @wellaprofessionalsuki and including #PurePerfection in your caption.
Your post should include strong before-and-after images that clearly showcase the transformation, alongside a brief description of your experience using Pure Perfection and why you chose the product for your client. Entrants must have a public Instagram profile for the duration of the competition, and only one entry per person will be accepted. The competition is open to UK entrants aged 18 and over.
