Waxing: a pain in the....?

I read the following story in Monday's
Daily Mail (14 April) and was shocked how -- what
I consider to be such a simple procedure could go so wrong.
It may be that the therapist wasn't properly trained, or that poor Lisa B has a very low pain threshold, but come on... when has waxing ever nearly included a trip to the hospital?
This is what the paper printed...WAXING LYRICAL WITH A TOP TIP
There is one feminine procedure which model Lisa B definitely does not recommend in her new self-help book advising women how to make the best out of their lives.
"Take a tip from me, never have a Brazilian," warns the striking mother of two, whose 256-page
Lifestyle Essentials gives vital advice for busy mothers. "No matter how much your man might ask you to, always say: No."
The reason? Lisa, 37, who lives in a Buckinghamshire mansion with her multi-millionaire property developer husband Anton Bilton, tells me she nearly ended up in hospital when she underwent the painful personal topiary process at a beauty salon in Los Angeles.
"I chose a place where porn stars go to get theirs done because I figured they would be the best," she says.
However, porn stars must be made of sterner stuff than Lisa, who admits: "It was so painful I collapsed. I only fainted, but I was nearly carted off to hospital and I have vowed never to try it again, much to Anton's disappointment."
Annette asks: How do you ensure a pain-free-as-possible treatment in your salon? Send us your top tips.
