Vtct on the register of apprentice assessment organisations

VTCT has been approved to conduct End Point Assessments for the Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standards for Hairdressing and Barbering and is including in the newly-published revised Register of Apprentice Assessment Organisations.The register has started to be incorporated into the apprenticeship service and is aimed at organisations that are interested in the end-point assessment of apprenticeship standards.

The standard describes the skills, knowledge and behaviours that an individual needs to be fully competent in an occupation. The assessment plan sets out how the apprentice will be assessed to demonstrate that they have met the standard.

The Register provides employers with a list of organisations who have shown they are capable of delivering independent end-point assessment. Employers can only select organisations from The Register to conduct end-point assessments.
