Mitch World.jpgFabulous Las Vegas was the setting for The Gathering 2011, Paul Mitchell's annual creative and business focused event that sees professionals and devotees of the brand from around the world gather together for 48 hours of inspiration.

From the creative workshops and business seminars to a breathtaking opening show that saw Angus Mitchell and Robert Cromeans work side-by-side; John Paul DeJoria outlined the exciting plans for the brands development in the next 12 months - it was exciting, inspiring and educational.

Taking the mantra that 'style isn't born, it is groomed' the big launch of the weekend was Mitch, a range of male grooming products that will be coming to the UK in January. Recognising the phenomenal growth in the men's market, the range has been designed to reflect the lifestyle of today's modern man and the live presentation worked the 3,300+ crowd into a frenzy.

The UK was well represented with the brand's British born editorial director Lucie Doughty working alongside jewellery designer Tarina Tarantino to bring to life the Christmas collection; and business expertise was offered by Ken West, director of 3.6.5. who ran three motivational sessions.

The closing show was breathtaking as each of the company's creative directors offered a unique insight into their personal inspiration and creative world - a fitting finale to a fabulous 48 hours.
