Unite Charity Salon opens in San Diego

Unite have launched their first salon in San Diego and, in a unique move, will be operating it as a fully charitable initiative. All net proceeds from the new Unite charity salon will be donated to the San Diego Padres baseball team's charity, which benefits both underprivileged children and shelter animals. The salon also boasts the latest in environmentally-friendly design, ensuring that every aspect is dedicated not just to making clients feel good, but making the world a better place at the same time. As well as serving as a fully functional premier Unite salon, the 4,000 sq ft space will also act as a teaching centre for affiliate stylists and salon owners. Founder Andrew Dale said: "We aim to help those who don't have a voice. San Diego has been a phenomenal home to Unite and the company is incredibly excited to be able to give back with this new venture. "In addition, the Unite mission has always been to provide educational support to the hairstyling community and in this new space, salon owners will able to attend custom programs to learn how to thrive in the market based on their own unique strengths."
