UK Salon Introduces Bitcoin as Payment Option

Ashley Gamble Hair, an award-winning salon based in Shropshire, has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin as a payment option.

This forward-thinking move positions the salon at the forefront of modern payment solutions, reflecting its commitment to innovation with a focus on providing clients with flexible ways to pay for both services and products.

Starting from 8 January, 2025, clients of the salon will be able to use Bitcoin to pay for their appointments. Additionally, they can pre-pay for an appointment as a gift for a loved one.

Currently, Bitcoin payments can only be made in the salon by scanning a QR code at the front of house area. However, exciting developments are on the way. Soon, clients will not only be able to use Bitcoin for services in the salon but will also have the option to pay online for gift cards, premium hair care products, and exclusive educational days with salon founder Ashley Gamble.

An exciting name in British hairdressing, thanks to a number of prestigious award wins, Ashely Gamble is no stranger to innovation. “We are always seeking new ways to make our services accessible to everyone,” says Ashley. “Introducing Bitcoin as a payment option is more than just adopting technology; it’s about being inclusive and offering a modern, flexible solution that recognises our clients’ evolving needs. This is another way we can enhance our clients’ experience and ensure that everyone feels valued.”
