"Leslie was my area manager when I started my first job as an apprentice at Andre Bernard in Knightsbridge and was terrifyingly efficient with a knack of getting the best out of people. And throughout both the Paul Mitchell, 365 and even the Moroccan oil days he still reminded me how he was going to sack me for bitting my nails but something stopped him luckily for me. Leslie was the unseen face behind so many success stories in British hairdressing. My thoughts are with all his family, RIP"
Shaun Hennessy
"Such very sad news. Leslie Spears was without doubt one of the most inspirational people I ever met in my career. He was the best Motivational Speaker I ever heard as he had such a wonderful vision to drive our industry to be more professional in every way. He introduced such amazing products to the UK and was a marketing genius. An incredible man and will be a huge loss to the Hairdressing Industry. We all had such fun in 365 for so many years and made amazing memories together. A true Legend! Sending love to family, friends and colleagues."
