How to prepare hair:
Before styling, Holly’s hair was washed, dried and sprayed with a heat defence spray before straightening.
STEP ONE
Section the hair from the parting, using the ear as a guide. Comb through the section and pin away all the remaining hair at the back of the head.
STEP TWO
Starting at the front of the head take a horizontal section around half an inch thick. Split that section into two equal strands and tie together in a knot. Repeat another section below.
STEP THREE
Once you have completed two-knot sections, on the 3
rd knot section, incorporate hair from the original knot.
STEP FOUR
Continue to knot, working down the head incorporating hair from the top section each time.
STEP FIVE
Continue to knot until you reach the ends and fasten with a clear hair tie. Wrap and pin the knotted braid at the back of the head and add accessories as desired Spritz with a finishing spray like I.C.O.N. Done Finishing Spray
