Trends at salon international

It's day three of Salon International - and one hairdresser has described it as like being in the Big Brother house.
And the task for the day: see as many shows as possible.
And walking round the Hair Hall there are so many inspirational shows to watch it's like being a kid in a sweet shop! But there are trends emerging on a variety of stages - crimping seems to be making a comeback, but unlike in the 80s, this time round it's softer, more feminine.
Extensions are peeking out of short hair, adding different tones of blonde, brunettes or reds, and while straight hair is making a comeback, this time it's combined with movement and volume.
Can't stop, Aveda are offering relaxing massages and my feet are killing me -- I've got a heartbeat in my feet so I'm going to spend 10 minutes being pampered!
