More than 4,500 Toni&Guy hairdressers from across the world descended on London's Battersea Power Station for the company's biggest ever celebration of achievement.

Reflecting the company's diverse range of work, the 9.10.11 event covered some of the catwalk looks created by the Toni&Guy team at London Fashion Week; the new label.m high street collection, Alignment; major product updates and the eagerly-anticipated Achievers awards celebrating talent across the company.

Following a rousing introduction from Toni Mascolo, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and James Tarbuck, North London grime MC Wretch 32 got the crowd going with a three-song set, which saw the entire crowd on its feet.

The fashion-forward audience was then treated to a presentation of designer Jean-Pierre Braganza's latest collection - just one of 17 designers who called on Toni&Guy to style hair for his London Fashion Week show.

His structural, tailored pieces were matched with statement hair styled in Hitchcock-inspired towering, textured beehives.

Next it was time to unveil the latest Toni&Guy collection which will be rolled out across salons over the next few weeks. Called Alignment, the ten new looks combined strong shapes with striking but wearable shades.

Presented by the international artistic team, Inspiration came from a diverse range of sources, ranging from 90s supermodel Linda Evangelista to the work of renowned Italian industrial designer, Joe Cesare Colombo.

The style showcase not only revealed the latest looks, but also provided the perfect platform to introduce two new label.m styling products and a new sub-range, Therapy - created specifically for ageing hair.

Next it was time for another fashion presentation, this time from one of London's most talked-about designers, Giles Deacon.

Pink and lilac wefts of hair were woven into top knots, placed in various positions to create unique, individual updos on each model.

A collection of spectacular avant garde work closed the fashion section of the show, with work from HJ's 2011 Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year nominee, Indira Schawecker drawing audible gasps from the awestruck audience.

Last but certainly not least it was time for The Achievers 2011, a series of awards recognising achievement in both creative and business categories.
